Who we are

LiftLab (www.lift-lab.co.uk) is a trading name of Josh Campbell, a sole trader in the United Kingdom. We are the controller of the personal information described here. Contact: liftlabstore355@gmail.com

What we collect
  • Order details: your name, delivery address, email address and phone number if you give one, and what you ordered.

  • Messages: anything you send us by email or through the site.

  • Newsletter sign-ups: your email address, only if you subscribe.

  • Site use: basic information about how the site is used, such as pages viewed and device type, collected through cookies (see Cookies below).

We do not store your full card details. Card payments are handled by our payment provider, Wix Payments.

Why we use it, and our legal basis
  • To take, send and support your order, and to handle returns and refunds (contract).

  • To keep records for tax and accounting (legal obligation).

  • To reply to your questions (legitimate interests).

  • To send our newsletter (your consent). You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in each email.

  • To understand how the site is used and improve it (consent, through the cookie banner).

Who we share it with

Only those who need it to run the store: our website and payment provider (Wix), the suppliers and delivery carriers who dispatch your order, and our email provider. We do not sell your information.

Some of these providers may process information outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on the safeguards they provide, such as approved contract terms.

How long we keep it

Order and accounting records are kept for 6 years. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe. Messages are kept for as long as needed to deal with your request, then deleted.

Your rights

You can ask us to see, correct, delete or restrict your information, to object to how we use it, or to withdraw consent. Email liftlabstore355@gmail.com and we will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to make the store work. With your consent, we also use cookies for analytics and marketing. You can accept or decline in the cookie banner and change your choice at any time.
